fourth of july is the first weekend of the summer that it really feels like ~summer~ to me. I know for some, it’s memorial day butttttt girl I was still wearing hoodies and sweats outside at the end of may. it’s been a very slow defrost into summer for in general, and now it’s pretty much already over (someone help me)
but regardless, we’re gonna eat good this weekend - I have a little roundup of all the recipes you might need + 2 new recipes for:
sungold peach bruschetta
pineapple rosé spritzers
we have no time to waste here, so let’s get into it!


sungold peach bruschetta:
12 oz labneh
1 heaping cup sungolds, quartered
1 cup of diced ripe peach
2 small garlic clove, grated and separated
2 tbsp julienned basil, plus more to garnish
1 tbsp mint, finely chopped
2 tbsp olive oil (or a very generous glug)
1/2 lemon, zested
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt + freshly cracked black pepper to taste
chili crisp to top
balsamic vinegar/glaze to finish (optional)
for the labneh: in a small bowl, add the labneh, pinch of salt, lemon zest, 1 garlic clove grated, lemon juice - stir to combine. taste for salt. in a shallow serving dish, spread the mixture out creating little swooshes and dips for the bruschetta to sit inside.
for the bruschetta: combine all the remaining ingredients together in a bowl and let sit for 15 minutes. taste for salt + pepper. spoon the mixture over the labneh and garnish with more basil and an optional drizzle of balsamic or chili crisp (or both)! serve with crackers or toasty bread!
this is my riff on the popular jalapeno + rosé trend and it’s sooooo refreshing and delicious and just elevates the drink a little more if you want it to be more of a moment/cut the wine a bit


pineapple rosé spritzer
1.5 oz pineapple juice
1 oz lemon juice
6 oz dry rosé
3 jalapeño slices
club soda to top
3/4 oz rum (optional)
1. add the lemon juice + jalapeños to a glass and muddle. add ice and the rose, followed by a topper of club soda! garnish with a pineapple leaf + additional jalapeño slices!
