I made this on Thursday and invited my friend over on Friday to get her opinion on how I did (she’s from the Ural Mountains and has had наполеон before, so I knew she could be honest with me about how she thought I did) and she said it was excellent. Very proud it-girl moment!!!! Thank you for sharing this recipe with us 💌💌
The cake was a hit !! It turned out a bit less aesthetic than yours but it tasted soo good ! That cream is absolutely amazing will definitely be making it again 💗
Made this for New Year's and it was sooo delicious! It's one of my all time favorite desserts and I'm glad I could finally make it at home. Thank you for the recipe :)

My cream did NOT come out like yours did😭😭
This looks beautiful!!!
One q - How long before serving can I make the custard?
Napoleon is not a russian cake!
It actually is!
Question - does the pastry not get soggy in the fridge ?
It’s meant to soften - for napoleon the layers should meld together and have a slight crunch to the pastry but mostly softened!
Thank you sm !! Going to make it for our Eid dinner hopefully it goes well cuz I really wanna try it 😩
Yay! I would just read everything over twice and ensure you have enough time to allow the layers to sit in the fridge :) enjoy!!

The rumors are true: I made this for Nowruz and my mother in law said it was the best Napoleon she’s ever had.
Can we let our custard sit for longer than 2 hours?
In the fridge
Yes! You can leave it overnight covered too
Thanks!!!! Assembled this morning before heading to work — making this for a spelling bee soirée I’m hosting tomorrow :)
