Well well well - what a two weeks it has been! And on the 12th day of Thanksgiving recipes, we have reached the finale for Season 3 of Everything But the Turkey' :’) If you’re still in need of any recipes, everything Thanksgiving is in this index.
Today’s Recipes:
spiked kompot punch
best radicchio brussels salad ever
But first, a big fat Thank You.
I cannot begin to thank everyone enough for the support and love you’ve shown for this menu. Being a content creator/“recipe developer”, I always go into things half hesitant. “Will this be well received? Will people actually like this? Is this even good???” So to receive this overwhelming affirmation has truly meant the world and I’m excited to keep going with you all!
And especially to those who subscribe on a monthly basis, you are truly what make any of this possible. Behind every recipe is countless hours, love, maybe some menty b’s. But having a group of people who support and trust me is something I will never be over. Thank you a million and I am so grateful for you.
We are all very sad about Thanksgiving ending, I know. But no stress my darling, this is not a goodbye, it’s a ~we keep riding~ because Christmas is coming, shortly followed by seasonal depression, and then January we’re gonna pretend to meal prep for a bit and it’s all gonna be very good and fun!
Here are some of my loose plans for the months ahead. But please let me know what you want to see more of and if we’re all aligned with the class curriculum!
December: seasonal/holiday recipes to make with the girls, guys etc
do we still need a focus on “hosting” and bringing things over to people’s homes?
January: meal prep but not really, because I am still me
I’ve wanted to do this for a little while now - “my take” on meal prep. And by that, not necessarily packaging 7 days of food in one day, because I could never. Instead, just starting the week with a plan - like a concise grocery list that could actually last me through the week, lead to less waste, and make some decent low-ish lift meals throughout. Stuff I would actually eat. Thoughts on this?!
February: a mini series of recipes I grew up on/find comfort in
As we enter
the deepest coldest pit of winterFebruary, I want to give you all something to lean on :’) and nothing comforts me like the hearty recipes I grew up onIf you didn’t know, I am Eastern European, parents originally from Belarus. I find so much comfort in our food - kotleti, borscht, olivye, blinchiki (recipe already posted here), my mom’s mushroom soup etc. So I figured why not share them, because I feel like Eastern European food is so underrated!!!
OK cute now back to Thanksgiving!
as a reminder, the paid tier unlocks *all* of my thanksgiving recipes + beyond! if you liked what you saw for thanksgiving, stick around - we have lots of fun stuff planned for the months ahead <3 either way, talk soon and I appreciate you!
